Head of the Arrears Collection Unit

Functions

The Arrears Collection Unit (UKT) is responsible for collecting Assessment Tax Arrears and Miscellaneous Revenue Arrears Claims. The Collection Report is presented in the MPAG Revenue Collection Committee Meeting and the MPAG Finance and Socioeconomic Development Committee Meeting. The three main sectors of the Arrears Collection Unit are the Assessment Tax Arrears Collection Sector, the Compound Arrears Collection Sector, and the Miscellaneous Revenue Arrears Collection Sector.

Miscellaneous Revenue Sector

 

1.Management of Reviews and Updates of Compound Arrears Data and Reports.
2. Management and Issuance of Reminder Letter for the Payment of Compound Arrears Claims (14 days)
3. Management and Issuance of Compound Arrears Claim Notice (7 days)
4. Management and Execution of Company  Search to the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) for companies with compound arrears.
5. Management and Execution of Identification Card Searches at the Melaka Registration Office (JPN Melaka) for individuals with compound arrears.
6. Management of Letter of Demand (LOD).
7. Management Discussions and Courtesy Visits.
8. Installment Implementation Management.
9. Case Documentation Management for Court Actions.

 

Assessment Tax Collection Sector

1. 1. Management of the Issuance of Form E.
2. Management of the Issuance of Forms F, G, and H.
3. Management and Implementation of Warrant Delivery Operations, Warrant Operations, and Seizure Operations.
4. Management and Issuance of Reminder Letters for Outstanding Assessment Tax Claims (15 days).
5. Management and Issuance of Demand Notices for Outstanding Assessment Taxes (7 days).
6. Management and Implementation of Private Searches at Alor Gajah Land Office and Melaka Land and Mines Office (PTAG & PTG).
7. Management and Implementation of Private Searches for Caveats at Alor Gajah Land Office and Melaka Land and Mines Office (PTAG & PTG).
8. Management of Installment Payments for Outstanding Assessment Taxes.
9. Management and Implementation of Company Searches at the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM).
10. Management and Implementation of Identification Card Searches at the Melaka Registration Office.
11. Management of Searches and Verification of Public Auctions at the Melaka High Court and Alor Gajah Land Office for Outstanding Assessment Taxes.
12. Management of Discussions and Courtesy Visits.
13. Management of Letters of Demand (LOD).
14. Management of Proof of Debt (POD).
15. Management of Implementation for Cases Relating to Outstanding Assessment Tax Claims in Court.
16. Management of Revenue Collection Committee Meetings and Various Other Meetings.
17. Quality Management of the Unit.
18. General Administration of the Unit.

3. Management and Issuance of Demand Notices for Various Revenue Arrears (7 days).
4. Management and Implementation of Company Searches at the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) for Companies with Outstanding Revenue Arrears.
